Top Ten Tuesday

Today Topic: Top Ten Books I’ve Read So Far in 2015

Hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

This list is no actual order just my top from the 35 books I’ve read so far.

Throne-of-glass-coverThrone of Glass by Sarah J. Mass

This book has been talked about everywhere and after I read it I can tell why. Maas knows how to write characters with witty dialogue and worlds a place where you want to read more of.

IMG_2614Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I love Morgan Matson books and this book was no different. I did have problems with how long each chapter ended up being. However the story itself was quick and seeing Emily go from being in despaired to growing more into herself was great.

IMG_2929Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sàenz

This book took me by surprise and I simply loved it. There is plenty of hype around this coming of age story and its well deserved.

vegeance in deathVengeance in Death by J.D. Robb

Am pretty much in love with this whole series especially on Audible. Out of the 7.5 I’ve read of this series the 6th one is my favorite. The drama in these book is great.

IMG_2763The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

Not many people enjoyed this book. Am not one of those people. I love the fact that we learned more about the past that lead to everything.

Darkness of Light by Stacey Marie Brown

Loved everything about this book. It had assassin attempts, poison, magic, betrayal, and a bit of romance. This book kept me reading late in the night and made me get the other two in these series.

11410430Defiance by C.J. Redwine

Another book that took me by surprise but in a good way. I could not put this book down for any reason other than there was so much to it.

the winners curseThe Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

My favorite thing about this book was the romance tension. Don’t know why but I love this probably because its more realistic. Also there is plenty of drama with an ending that made me really want the second book.

Sea and ShadowsSea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong

This book made me sleep deprived. This book kept me up as I try to keep up the twin sisters separate adventures through the wasteland. And of course its not an easy task. Loved.

Okay so that is my list and was impressed that I read enough to actual make a list. So that’s my Top Ten Tuesday and thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed my rambles. Until next time Happy Reading.

  1. I’ve only recently started J.D. Robb’s IN DEATH series and it has been great so far! Her writing is so refreshing and so transcendent, as in, you’d think it was written last year but it was actually written like almost 20 years ago (at least the first ones were). Have you read the rest of the TOG series? They’re just as good, if not, even better than the first book!
