Summary:

Relationships are complex.
Love ever-changing.
And when it comes to rules of the heart,
they were made to be broken…

That’s what Robert Antonio Bianchi was telling himself, anyway.
Otherwise, he really had no excuse for what—or who—he’d done.

No excuse, except for his lonely heart, a pitcher of margaritas, four Bitter Bitches, and the apparent need to confess all his weaknesses to the two men he knew would bring him nothing but trouble.

But trouble was nothing new.

Just ask his crazy sisters or any of his friends, and they’d be the first to tell you:
If there was a bad decision to be made, Robbie always had a knack for making it.

And thus begins the story of the priest, the princess, and the prick.

SIDEBAR: You don’t need to read the Temptation series however highly suggest it. For Logan and Tate’s story needs to be read because I love them. Plus we meet the characters from this story, and their beginning.

I forgot to gush about this book but just for everyone to know i 100% loved this book. To see more Robbie and fall more in love with his stubborn and sassy behavior. He knows who he is and isn’t gong to hide or stop being himself which I love most about him. Plus he’s loyal and so family based that I see why Priest and Julien want him.

PRIEST & ROBBIE CONTINUED:

Now since Priest and Robbie meet they’ve been on each others bad side, so I knew/ hopped that they would get together. But the ending of True came a surprise that 1st Priest is married and 2nd that him and his husband want to bring Robbie into a three way relationship. Color me shock but totally ready for it.

THE NEW/OLD GUY:
Julien we don’t meet until True when he meets Robbie at the Pop Cherry and they hit off but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. However we get more of him in this book and i simply love him. I already loved Priest because he’s one of those silent but don’t take crap and always tell you the truth. I love how that honest comes out of him and Robbie ask questions and tries to make sense of why Priest and Julien want to bring him in their marriage.

THE STORY:
This book has lots of funny moment but also serious ones because Priest and Julien have lots of baggage and in this first book only touch a bit of what those men has been through. Plus I have to say the touching moments between all three of them made me make awe noises in public and get weird looks. Plus the sexy parts are so hot that being at work and reading got me questioned a lot.
But I wouldn’t change a thing and I can’t wait until Julien’s story comes out later this year. Hopefully all three would be released this year because I am addicted to it.

I will be rereading the temptation series before I review them. Not because I don’t remember the stories, but because I just want the memories fresh when I review.

Also has anyone read the temptation series or this first book in this trilogy. If so please let me know because am obsessed with everything that goes on in these books. Also the second book comes out next month and so excited.

Alessandro has come back to help his foster mother, while Jamie is finally living a life after being sick for a long time. With a bit of luck Alessandro gets hired at Jamie’s sisters shop busting tables and bringing out orders. Which leads to both men seeing each other daily. So when it comes out that Jamie is unexperienced thanks for him being sick. Alessandro strikes a  deal to help him out as long as it stays in a teaching situation. However of course it doesn’t work that way. Because Alessandro is a little bit more hard headed, and very  protective of  Jamie while also letting him experience in a safe place. Which Jamie feels he can because Alessandro is there to protect if needed. I love that they understand each other and that they grew together. Even though the outside world brings lots of drama some being from Alessandro’s foster brother and a old class mates secret. While Jamie deals with hate for being gay that works out and just bring them closer.

As a regular at Pot of Gold Ezra is known as pretty much a one stand man, and as a bartender Donner have seen and heard all about Ezra’s antics. That was until a chance meeting in the bathroom Erza has now set his eyes on Donner whose hesitant. It was supposed to be a one night thing however it doesn’t work out that way and they try to work toward something more. Something I love most about this book is how opposite Donner and Ezra is personality wise. Donner is more the quiet type who is trying to start dating after losing his partner. Then there’s Ezra whose out and proud who is also have
a huge wall up that is hard for him to let Donner in which of course cause problems. Yet slowly and with lots of love and patience.

Romy & Brendan are everything. This is a story of Romy who is trying to come to terms to what he went through and try to get back to some what normal. Which Romy has plenty of support especially from Brendan who is a silent support. I love how the relationship of Romy & Brendan started for it was friendship for most of the book. Then grow slowly to them having more stronger feelings for each other. This is Brendan’s first real gay relationship and this is the first time Romy went into a relationship where sex isn’t a major factor. So it was really something to watch them learn how to be together since neither have before. They have lots going against them including Romy’s PSTD, crazy ex’s, and keeping each other honest. Plus the others from the belong trilogy are present and a wonderful support system for my boys.

All these books star two different boys yet has the prior couples in them being supportive and giving advice. This whole triogy I give them 4 stars and highly recommend.

Audiobooks Review: The Hazel Woods//descent story until the end

Title: The Hazel Woods

Arthur:Melissa Albert

Rating:3/5 stars

Format:Audiobook

Narrator:Rebecca Soler

Length:10/30

Summary: Alice and her mother have always traveled around trying to escape the bad luck that always seemed to follow them. That was until they get word that Alice’s grandmother who Alice has never meet. Who she only know is her mother wants to keep her away from her and that she’s a famous author. They believe their safe until one day Alice’s mother is taken and with the help of a fellow classmate try to follow her mother’s trail which leads to the one place her mother never wanted Alice to go. The Hazel Woods.

MY THOUGHTS:

This would have been such a 4 stars for though I didn’t really like Alice but enjoyed the secondary characters. Also though the story was a bit slow I still really enjoyed how the story went and seen the twist but could get behind it. Even all that it would still be a 4 stars read, until the ending.

The secondary characters are what makes this book, because Alice is annoying. How she was hot and cold so fast and was just a brat for the most part. Yes her mother was missing, yet don’t be a bully to the person that is trying to help you. Flinch is the rich popular boy who isn’t shown any attention at home, so the magically world of the Hinterland is such a wonderland for him. Which is why he started helping the granddaughter of his favorite book.

Again I don’t want to spoil the ending, but I cannot get over how the author decided to write it. There was some build up and it just crashed and I couldn’t help but be upset. Something I didn’t realize is that this book is book one and I don’t know how Melissa is going to continue on with this story. Just hoping that the next book isn’t Alice, but maybe another of the characters of the Hinterland. That I would totally read.

Lastly the audiobook was really good and Rebecca Soler made the story very fairytale like which made the slow bits not that hard to get through. Which if you ever heard her do the Lunar Chronicles series know how smooth she makes story telling.
