Overdue Book Haul

So like my wrap ups for the months I’ve been behind on book hauls. Probably because am supposed to be on a book buying ban, but am to much of a nerd to not keep buying them. And this isn’t even showing my kindle books.

PROTOSTAR & SUPERNOVA by Braxton A. Cosby I got for free from the author for an honest review. Which makes me feel bad that I haven’t finished either.

GLIDED CAGE by Vic James I won thanks to a goodreads giveaway which was a totally surprise to achieve in the mail.

The next three picture are from two different book outlet orders. 17 hardbacks along with 5 paperback. I have only read Gemina and me wanting an actually copy of the book.

So here is my overdue book haul and more will be coming soon because I love buying books even if I don’t read them right away.

Sunday Haul

I didn’t really buy anything which makes me happy. So I joined both my kindle and book outlet haul together. Hope you enjoy.

Elemental (elemental #.5) its a novella that I read before the first one that was only a couple dollars.

Angelfall (penryn & the end of days #1) have already listened to and highly recommend. However I didn’t have the e-book so for .99 cents why not.

Rommie Wars: got it for free so why not

1st one being I only have them in this format.

2nd one being I own these books in another format.

img_0233 So yeah I feel like I didn’t do that bad this week in the buying other than of course the actual haul. This is a slow process and am trying to decrease buying since my reading haven’t been that great.

Happy reading/buying and hope everyone had a good weekend. 🙂

Book Haul: Birthday & Christmas Haul

Okay this is late I know and oops. Anyway these is thanks to gift cards and some of my own money. Gift cards to me are totally boxsets for me so I got those.

First let’s talk about my birthday I got a giftcard and brought these books with it.

Duology: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Now I have no excuse to not read these since the first book itself I have in three different formats.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

Another no excuse because I’ve been wanting to read this for awhile. I’ve heard it is a love it or hate it type of book and am excited to see which side I am.

Christmas Time: no one knows what to get me so gift cards are always welcomed.

Series: The School of Good and Evil by Soman Chaimani

Want to read forever and now I have the books to do it.

Nevernight is a book I’ve been wanting to read since it can out but it was expensive. Until I found a coupon on a book site that discounted a book. I choose this and only payed 10 bucks for it.

I want to read a 100 books this year and I also want to keep better track of my reading. That’s what log comes in there are 100 pages so if I feel up these book then I  completed my goal.

This is so late and I have no excuse other than I forgot. I put it up on my instrgram and that was it. So hope you have a good weekend and hope you like my birthday/Christmas haul.

Haul: Ebook

Okay so it’s officially I have a problem and it’s called ebooks. This month I collected 100 new books that will probably just seat on my kindle.

The list includes:

100 books that mostly came from deals throughout the month but still. I don’t read on my ereader and I need to break that habit if am going to continue buying ebooks. Or stop buying ebooks no matter the deal which I don’t see happening. Something needs to change.

Please someone tell me am not the only one. And this is part 1 of 3 hauls I have. I’ve spent a lot of money on books this month that they have to be in different post. Until later.

Bookmail from Amazon Marketplace

So this book haul all started with me being tired that my series weren’t in the same format. So organizing them was a pain and didn’t look right. So I went to Amazon marketplace and went a little crazy.

(the links will take you to Goodreads for summaries)
Those would be:

Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi. (book 3 in the Under the Never Sky). Read the first two and need to re read them so that I can finally   read this final book and see how it ends.

Inside by Maria V. Snyder. (book 1 &2 in the Insider duology). This is a bind up of Inside Out and Outside In and now they seat with the other books I have of this author.

What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang. (book 1 in The Hybrid Chronicles). Still haven’t read this and already have the second book. Need to read them soon.

Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd. (book 2 in The Madman’s Daughter). Yet there still not the same size. Her Dark Curisoity is shorter then the other two. I don’t understand.

Then I have two books that I got because others have raving about it. Which is not the smartest reason to get books but it happened.

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. (book 1 in the Ceretery of Forgotten Books) This has been going for a bit and the first I actual heard of it was from Well Done Books. This is apparently his favorite book and that’s all I know about it.

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. (book 1 in the All Souls Trilogy)This is all thanks to Bookwormwanders who keep raving about these series as she read it and I got curiosity. Don’t know much about this book other than there is a witch and maybe a vampire. We’ll see.

Then lastly a book that was cheap and came in really good condition and glad I brought.

Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes (book 4 in the Falling Kingdom series). Which side note still haven’t even started this series and yet I keep collecting the books. So here’s another series that am collecting but haven’t even started yet.

I’ve always been nerves about buying hardbacks from the marketplace. For reasons that I don’t want library books and the dust jackets not to be there. However am really impressed how both Frozen Tides and What’s Left of Me came looking brand new.

Oh and this  isn’t the end of it I still have more coming in this month which should be fun. Last month I went over board with kindle books now with used books. It never ends.

Bookoutlet Book Haul

This haul  happened because of two reasons. One I found an unused 5 dollar off coupon from there. And second reason is for a book itself.

Snow like Ashes by Sara Raasch. It was there and I’ve been really wanted to read it so it’s why’s started the buying of the next 5 books.

Alice Adventure in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. This was a total cover buy plus it has illusions. Didn’t know though that it would be this small.

Dust City by Robert Paul Weston. I’ve been wanting to read this one for awhile, but kind of forgot about it. However now I have it in these pretty cover. Plus back cover and spine

Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by  Helena Hunting. I’ve been wanting this after hearing it by one of my favorite booktubers. However both books where never there together or in different formats. My waiting paid off.

Song of the Fireflies by J.A. Redmerski. I’ve actual read one of Redmerski’s before hand and really enjoyed it so I thought to get another of her books while shopping.

So I’ve stepped up my new adult game and am excited for all these books. Now just need to choose what to read first.

Any suggestions?

April Bookhaul

First off my two preorders:

Then I went on a Richelle Mead buying spree:

Spirit Bound and Indigo Spell I got on Amazon. The others are from Book Outlet.

Plus three more from one of my favorite book sites Book Outlet.

Then the kindle books:

I’ve also have gotten obsessed with matching my ebooks with there audible books. Plus when am just trying out a series then follow in love with. Example ahead.

The Beautiful Bastard series by Christina Lauren. Went from a try but to buying all of them.

Wallbanger, Rusty Nailed, and Last Call  by Alice Clayton.

Filthy Boy by Christina Lauren to try her other series.

The Barrier Between by Stacey Marie Brown.

Embrace by Jessica Shivington.

Half a King by Joe Abercombie

The Selection, The Elite, and The One by Kiera Cass.

A Court of Throne and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.

In Death 36-42 by J.D. Robb (AM CAUGHT UP!!!!)

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson. ( read and cried at how good it is and how long it took me to read it)

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

So the stats are:

28- audible books (listened to 17 of those)

44- ebooks

Bringing my total for the month 83 books in different formats. I need to get on top of these because my ebook and audible collections are getting out of control.

New Book Birthday Goes to….

Forest of Ruin by Kelley Armstrong is the last book in her Age of Legend. It’s back into the fantasy world with war and twin sisters try and use there gifts to stop it.

Now that I got the third book maybe I will continue reading Empire of Night. Or maybe not to be more realistic. But now when I do get to it I have the completed story.

March Wrap Up

My reading month is the best I’ve had so far this year. With 14 books under my belt.

Those stats being:

I Only like the fingers of the guy I hate volume 1-3: 3 stars

I have collected 17 new books.

The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows and Starcrossed by Josephina Angelina are both from Amazon. While the other 15 is from Book Outlet.
My e-book collection has grown as will with 27 new books.

So my month in a nutshell

44 total of new books.

1,312 total pages

32hrs. 37mins. Of audible listening

Hoping next month is as good as this month fingers crossed that it is.
