Overdue Book Haul

So like my wrap ups for the months I’ve been behind on book hauls. Probably because am supposed to be on a book buying ban, but am to much of a nerd to not keep buying them. And this isn’t even showing my kindle books.

PROTOSTAR & SUPERNOVA by Braxton A. Cosby I got for free from the author for an honest review. Which makes me feel bad that I haven’t finished either.

GLIDED CAGE by Vic James I won thanks to a goodreads giveaway which was a totally surprise to achieve in the mail.

img_0349img_0352img_0348

The next three picture are from two different book outlet orders. 17 hardbacks along with 5 paperback. I have only read Gemina and me wanting an actually copy of the book.

So here is my overdue book haul and more will be coming soon because I love buying books even if I don’t read them right away.

Sunday Haul

I didn’t really buy anything which makes me happy. So I joined both my kindle and book outlet haul together. Hope you enjoy.

Elemental (elemental #.5) its a novella that I read before the first one that was only a couple dollars.

Angelfall (penryn & the end of days #1) have already listened to and highly recommend. However I didn’t have the e-book so for .99 cents why not.

Rommie Wars: got it for free so why not

BOOKOUTLET HAUL:

1st one being I only have them in this format.

img_0230

2nd one being I own these books in another format.

img_0233 So yeah I feel like I didn’t do that bad this week in the buying other than of course the actual haul. This is a slow process and am trying to decrease buying since my reading haven’t been that great.

Happy reading/buying and hope everyone had a good weekend. 🙂

Bookoutlet Book Haul

This haul  happened because of two reasons. One I found an unused 5 dollar off coupon from there. And second reason is for a book itself.

img_3894
Snow like Ashes by Sara Raasch. It was there and I’ve been really wanted to read it so it’s why’s started the buying of the next 5 books.

img_3891img_3892
Alice Adventure in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. This was a total cover buy plus it has illusions. Didn’t know though that it would be this small.

img_3896img_3897img_3898
Dust City by Robert Paul Weston. I’ve been wanting to read this one for awhile, but kind of forgot about it. However now I have it in these pretty cover. Plus back cover and spine

img_3893
Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by  Helena Hunting. I’ve been wanting this after hearing it by one of my favorite booktubers. However both books where never there together or in different formats. My waiting paid off.

img_3895
Song of the Fireflies by J.A. Redmerski. I’ve actual read one of Redmerski’s before hand and really enjoyed it so I thought to get another of her books while shopping.

So I’ve stepped up my new adult game and am excited for all these books. Now just need to choose what to read first.

Any suggestions?

April Bookhaul

First off my two preorders:

Then I went on a Richelle Mead buying spree:

Spirit Bound and Indigo Spell I got on Amazon. The others are from Book Outlet.

Plus three more from one of my favorite book sites Book Outlet.

Then the kindle books:

I’ve also have gotten obsessed with matching my ebooks with there audible books. Plus when am just trying out a series then follow in love with. Example ahead.

The Beautiful Bastard series by Christina Lauren. Went from a try but to buying all of them.

Wallbanger, Rusty Nailed, and Last Call  by Alice Clayton.

Filthy Boy by Christina Lauren to try her other series.

The Barrier Between by Stacey Marie Brown.

Embrace by Jessica Shivington.

Half a King by Joe Abercombie

The Selection, The Elite, and The One by Kiera Cass.

A Court of Throne and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.

In Death 36-42 by J.D. Robb (AM CAUGHT UP!!!!)

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson. ( read and cried at how good it is and how long it took me to read it)

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

So the stats are:

28- audible books (listened to 17 of those)

44- ebooks

11-physical

Bringing my total for the month 83 books in different formats. I need to get on top of these because my ebook and audible collections are getting out of control.

March Wrap Up

Hoping next month is as good as this month fingers crossed that it is.

BookHauling

Am going to try and I mean try not to buy anymore books this month. I need to read more of my physical books. So after this I need to focus more on the books I have now. Wish me luck.

First Bookoutlet Order of 2016

So I was doing so good at not buying books on Book Outlet. Can’t say the same for Amazon marketplace but still. I only brought them for one book then found 10 more that I really wanted. Not much of an excuse but it’s the only one I have.

The Pile:

Don’t know if you can tell but paperbacks win with 7 paperbacks and 4 hardbacks. Which is okay because I love my paperbacks.

Or aka the book that made me place the order in the first place. But am not mad I can’t wait to read it to remember Legend then maybe continue on the trilogy.

Or better named the trilogy that I’ve been wanting for years. I’ve been waiting for these books to be on book outlet all in the same format. Bonus is the prett covers.

Also known to me as the tallest book in my order. I didn’t know that I’ll Give You the Sun was so tall. I do know that it’s about twins in different times with both point of views. And that’s all I really want to know.

Have heard little about this but what I have heard is good. So am excited to read about some sisters with paranormal wrapped in. Maybe?

A 2015 release where I love the front, back, and the table of contents. Don’t ask me why but I love when books have titled chapters. I didn’t know this before I brought it but I liked the surprise.

A book I haven’t read and already have it as two different ebooks. So why not add another format to the equation. This is about a mix kid who can’t fit in with either side of his witch blood. Sounds fun.

This is will be my third book owned by Patrick Ness. I’ve heard some mixed things but has such a pretty cover.

And lastly the book that I’ve already read but needed to have the collection. I have been waiting for every for this book to come in paperback. And I know I could have brought it somewhere else. However my sentimental side wouldn’t let me since I brought the first two on book outlet.

There you have it my book outlet the first and not the last. I don’t regret anything and am going to go stare at them. While trying to figure out where to place them on my bookshelves.

Anyone else get sentimental attached to where you first but series? Or am the only weird one. Let me know it the comments.

Book Haul pt. 2

IMG_2959Thank you Book Outlet for having all three books. I have enjoyed the first two in these trilogy and never gotten to the third one. Now though since its been a while since I’ve read these trilogy I’ll have to start from the beginning. But that’s okay they go pretty quickly.

IMG_2960This has to be my most disappointed purchase. I preorder this from book depository for the fact that I have the first to in paperback. Since it was coming out as hardback on everywhere else I ordered it, However I forgot one fact. Paperbacks and mass paperbacks are different. So I got the paperback which can I say is the size of a hardback. Not only that it didn’t come out on release date which I had no clue of since I don’t get books from book depository. It shipped the day before and took  3 weeks to get here. My question is what was the point if I wasn’t even going to get it on the day it release. Plus the fact that its the size of a hardcover piss me off even more. I should of just got the damn e-book.

IMG_2970

Do you see my problem how can a paperback be bigger than a hardback. If I wanted a hardback I would have just brought it on amazon and get it on time. Ugh.

Okay sorry for the rant but I had to get that out of my system. Anyway that is my book haul I have one more box coming from book outlet with 8 books in it so I can’t wait. Until next time Happy Reading.

Book Outlet Haul

Book outlet will be the death of me I swear, but I love there deals so I can’t help but buy from them. I only got 5 this time around and there under 30 so am a happy camper. Can’t say the same thing for my bookshelf.

The whole reason I placed the order is because of the book Of Beast and Beauty by Stacy Jay.

IMG_2894Author: Stacy Jay

Genre: Beauty and the Beast retelling

Publisher: Delacorte Press

“Its pointless. Hopeless. Even if she weren’t  afraid of me, we’ll always be enemies at the core. She rules a wicked, selfish city, and my tribe suffers for the people’s comfort. She’s a queen; I’m her prisoner. I resent her and she fears me, and there are times when I fear her, too. I am her monster, and she is mine. But right now none of it matters.”-back cover

I haven’t heard anything but good things about this book and can’t to dig into it.

IMG_2895Author: Kimberly Derting

Genre: YA Dystopia

Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry

In the country of Ludania there are strictly divided by Language they speak. Charlaina has always been able to understand other languages though she keeps it to herself. For if anyone finds out it could mean death for her. Then she meets Max who can speak a language she’s never heard of. Then craziness commence. -Summary

Haven’t heard much on this book to be honest I thought it was about werewolves for some reason.

IMG_2899Author: Katja Millay

Genre: YA Contemporary

Publisher: Atria Books

I live in a world without magic or miracles. A place where there are no clairvoyants or shapeshifters, no angels or superhuman boys to save you. A place where people die and music disintegrates and things suck. I am pressed so hard against the earth by the weight of reality that some days I wonder how I am still able to lift my feet to walk.

All I know about this book is two things. One this is a beautiful cover and second off I cant say the main girl name. Nastya Kashnikov how the hell will I ever be able to pronounce it.

IMG_2897Author: Jon S. Lewis

Genre: YA Science Fiction

Publisher: Thomas Nelson Publisher

Series: C.H.A.O.S #1

Vowing to uncover the truth, Colt gets drawn into a secret world of aliens, shapeshifters, flying motorcycles, and invisible gateways.
The Invasion has begun.

What’s more fun or exciting then an invasion of any kind.

IMG_2898Author: Sandy Hall

Publisher: Swoon Reads

Genre: contemporary

So what I heard is that this told by 14 different point of views on why Gabe and Lea should get together.

Haven’t heard one bad thing about this book. So I cant wait to read it.

So that is my short book haul from book outlet. Anyone else read these books and which one should I pick up first. Thanks for reading.
