Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme, created by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Book am waiting on is:

Release date: June 4th 2018

Series: confession book 2

Summary: People are complex.

Love a double-edgePeople are complex.

Love a double-edged sword.

And when it comes to a broken heart, there are no rules, only time…

For the past eight years, Julien Thornton has been living with a secret. One that only a handful of people know about.

To the outside world, he has it all.

A thriving career. A loving husband. And a face that the American public fell for by the millions, on a reality show that inadvertently saved his life.

But behind the shine of celebrity, behind the easygoing nature, a crippling truth fills Julien with pain and self-loathing. It’s a truth that he fights to overcome daily with the help of his husband, Joel Priestley, and now their boyfriend, Robbie Bianchi.

But unlike Priest, Robbie doesn’t know what he’s helping Julien to fight. He doesn’t know what Julien did all those years ago. And with the anniversary of his sister’s death fast approaching, the time for explanations is running out.

And thus the question: will the princess be able to forgive the prick as the priest once did?

Only time will tell.

A Mash Up Of bookish thing

Bookish Delights:

1.Getting new books. I don’t try and buy to many physical books this year. However e-books are still my weakness. However opening up a book to see the book design or end pages and am in love.

2.Organizing my shelves. I need to organize again though I don’t know how. But as long as my series are together and doesn’t look a mess am happy.

3.Audiobooks while at work. Seriously working fast food is one of the stressful part of my day. So when I have free time with nothing but cleaning I start listening to a book.

4.Having complete series. Though I don’t finish them as fast as I should I do love seeing complete series on my shelves and dream about marathoning them someday.

5.Reading a book with all my favorite things. My slow romances with the sassy male characters with a great story line  is my life.

6.when I get a like on a post or view. I don’t blog very often since I don’t read as often or stay up with a lot of things. So when I get a view or like it always make my day.

7.amazon marketplace and book outlet. I love both site though my wallet and parents disagree. However there cheap and I will some how find someplace to put them.

8. getting my mom to read one of my books. I love when my mother comes into my room and ask for a book recommendation. The ones I gave her she has liked so am a proud book worm.

9. collecting bookish things. I don’t have many but it is a hobby that I like along with collecting books.

10. goodreads shelves. They help me keep organized in all my formats of books I have. So goodreads helps me know what I have which format I have it in.

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY:

Today my copy of The Rose and the Dagger by Renee came in and now am currently reading The Wrath and the Dawn. Which I should have read forever ago but haven’t yet.

Top Ten Tueday

TOPIC: Ten Books Every Non Instant Love Fans Should Read:

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowel

I love this book for the fact that Levi and Cath are both goofy people and made for each other. Though that road to that conclusion was long and bumpy.

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

Valek is pretty much the main reason to read this book. He’s pretty much a jack of all trades and handsome as hell to boot. Which is probably why Yelena (and me of course) fell for him.

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

I want a Sam for he plays music, a great listener, and understanding. Which is all Ana needed after living the way she did before coming to Heart and meeting him. Plus no love triangle which is rare in young adult.

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand

I laugh every time I think of Tucker and Clara. How they went from some what rivals since there first meet wasn’t the best. To becoming a couple and being really romantic with each other. I don’t know why but they are one of my top couples in my head.

The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

Arin and Kestrel have a complicated relationship status. Which is probably why I root for them so much to get together in the end. Politics and war be damned.

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

All the books in the His Fair Assassin trilogy have those slow burning love. It helps with the fact that politics, war, and past memories for the girls keep the romances on the back burner.

Legend by Marie Lu

I love Days and Junes relationship in these book. For one hated while the other wasn’t complete sure. Then they cam together thanks to a common goal and fell for each other.

Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong

Love how these story has one story but pretty much told in two sister point of views. Along with that is two different romances that seem to go different ways to. I simply love Moria and Gavril for the banter and just them makes me love reading about them.

Defiance by C.J. Redwine

This is more of a search for father than a romantic story which is always okay in my book. Rachel the hardheaded red head and Logan the mechanic who try to keep his distance. Plus dealing with the deadly things in the Wasteland sounds like a good start to a romance to me.

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

Not many people like how the relationship happen but I did. I loved how it was total friends zone to in a relationship. All the sweet moments just adds up to me a really good start to finish for there relationship.

I love how the romances are built up like good solids one should. I know am not the only one that rolls there eyes at the how predictability, and instant some relationships in books appear. So am always happy and love the book more when there is more a build up then the boom.

Mid- Year Book Freak Out Tag

I’ve seen this tag around mostly on Booktube then anywhere, however I decided to bring it to my blog. So here are my answers for the tag.

1.Best book you’ve read so far in 2015. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. Hands down  it made me smile, rave and everything good I look in a book.

2.Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2015. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michele Hodkins. I know that plenty of people weren’t happy with the ending, However I did so I was happy.

3.New release you haven’t read, yet but want to. Empire of Night by Kelley Armstrong which is the sequel to the Sea of Shadows. I really want to get on with this trilogy and see what’s happening next.

4. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year. Winter by Marissa Meyers. I need to know how Cinder and the gang are going to stop Queen Levana on her own turf.

5. Biggest disappointment. Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. This was my first Colleen Hoover and I was disappointed to see how predictable it was.

6. Biggest surprise. I’ve heard so much on this book that I was scared I wouldn’t like it. However when I read Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas the hype is actual worth it.

7. Favorite new author. Stacey Marie Brown. I haven’t read many of her books but I do like how she writes paranormal adult books.

8. Newest fictional crush. Roake from In Death series by J.D. Robb. I smile every time I think about Roake and his Irish ascent.

9. Newest favorite character. Kestrel for the Winners trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. She is so smart and such a good stagiest. I love how strong she is using her brain then actual muscle.

 10. Book that made you cry. I haven’t cried yet this year over a book and am not much of a crier anyway so no surprise.

11. Book that made you happy. That would have to be In Death series by J.D. Robb. I don’t know why but listening/reading this series always put me in a good mood and happy.

12. Favorite book to film adaptation you saw this year. Only adaption I watched was the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. I know that people don’t enjoy these books. But I do so I enjoyed seeing it on film. Even though it made me laugh a lot on the parts I remembered in the book being on screen.

13. Favorite review you’ve written this year. (Booktube version: Favorite video you have done so far in this year.) My review on Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. I really worked on hard on that review.

14. Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year (or received). The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. I just think the cover is really pretty.

15. What books do you need to read by the end of the year? I need to read a lot books if I can get more reading done then recent then I’ll be happy. Especially my series’ they just seem to be getting out of control.

That was some what painless though some I had to think on. Yes there is duplicates but I haven’t had the best reading month so had to work with what I got. Hope you enjoyed this tag if you did please give it a like or a comment.

Until next time have a good day book nerds.

The Royal Court Book Tag

King: favorite male character. Tucker from the Unearthly series. I don’t know why but I loved his in this series. I think its more to do with his country boy charm then anything else.

Queen: favorite female character. Yelena from the Study series. She is really smart and enjoy to learn what she can.

1st Prince: the most loyal character. Kenji from the Shatter Me series. He was loyal to the Omega Point and to his training Juliette.

2nd Prince: the most laid back character. McNab from the In Death series. He is pretty laid back in everything he does and what he wears.

Head Strong Princess: a head strong female character. Jamie from The Bride. Love this book for the fact that she is headstrong and that Alec is as well.

Kings Advistor: the most trustworthy character. Summerset from the In Death series. He has to be though with all that Roake has in that mansion of his.

Duke and duchess: favorite OTP. Roake and Eve from the In Death series. Love them as a couple and probably always will

Lady in Waiting: best supporting character. Sam from the Newsouls series. He is a rock to Ann and she really need one being the only newsoul. All that drama.

Secret traitor: the least trustworthy character. Peter from the Divergent series. He has to be the most two faced person ever. I really dislike him and wouldn’t mind if he dies.

Court wizard: a magical character. Tessa from the Infernal Device series. She can turn into people when touching one of there items. I call that magical.

Royal fool: most funny character. Roar from Under the Never Sky series. Even though the world in which these books are based he can always tries to make it not so bad.

Gossip lady maid: character known to spread rumors. Mia from the vampire academy. She is a total rumor junkie in the first book.

Handsome servant: character most likely to seduce a lady. Elliot before Kate from 50 Shades. He was a love them then leave them kind of guy.

Top Ten Tuesday

Topic: Ten books I plan to have in my beach bag this summer, or ten books I think make great beach reads.

This list will consist of the contemporary reads that I have on my shelf.

IMG_2848I think the summer I turned pretty is obvious in the fact it has summer in the title. Also To all the boys I’ve before because I really need to finish it sometimes soon.

IMG_2852I don’t know anything about this series other than the fact that I haven’t yet read them. So why not read them during summer.

IMG_2849Didn’t know I had more than one Sarah Ockler book but since I read Twelve Boys Summer, and enjoyed it I want to read these other two.

IMG_2850Another two books I want to read. Shut Out guys and girls battling to see whose the better sex. On the other hand we have Broken Heart, fences, and other things to mend which I got because its a Morgan Matson book.

IMG_2851These two would a different read for me. Between the lines is about a fairytale coming to life. Then there is Wonderlove a traveling book to find one self. Both sound great being on two different genres.

IMG_2853This is not a contemporary but still has that romantic look that I wouldn’t mind reading during the summer time.

So there is my top ten list. I don’t do the beach so I most likely be reading these in my bed or some where in my house. Hope everyone has a good summer and get plenty of reading done. 🙂
